Exchange TRX and SEIBU
Exchange TRX and SEIBU
Visit the new mall and what you will find

The idea to visit the new mall, which opened last November, at the Exchange TRX came to mind this Saturday morning. The 453-meter tower is near and I have seen it everyday on the route from home to the station. So I called a Grab car to get there.
UNIQLO and MUJI

The two shops were the first scene I had after getting off the Grab car and using the escalator to the ground floor. It is convenient that you can go to those Japanese clothes shops at one place for people who like to wear reasonable and fine clothes.
Both of the two have a wide shopping floor using three levels. Soppers can walk around the corners for men, women, and kids for bargain hunting. But, frankly speaking, their goods on sale are not different from other outlets of UNIQLO and MUJI.
Is SEIBU, Another Japanese Retailer, Successful?

| SEIBU in TRX |
There is a large outlet of SEIBU, the first shop in Malaysia for the Japanese department store, in the mall. Of course it is too early to say whether its business is successful or not. But I cannot help but say that the department stores in Japan currently are very similar to shopping malls in Southeast Asia. Both the retail facilities are a set of brand shops with amenity space. Then why SEIBU has to be part of a large shopping mall.
At least one floor of SEIBU has been successful in attracting many customers so far. It is the grocery floor with some restaurants. I tried udon noodles there, eating a bowl of kitsune udon with a piece of prawn tempura (RM 34) .
Two Strong Points for TRX Mall
Malls are malls. Almost the same lineup of brands as other malls in KL are seen there. But TRX mall has two strong points.
There is a rooftop garden where families and couples can enjoy themselves at level three or four in TRX mall. With some cafes, a promenade with trees on both sides and a fountain place for kids are set there. For families, be sure to wear beach sandals.
The other merit is the connection to trains. The Razak Exchange station on two MRT lines is right under the mall. You can get to the mall by one stop from Bukit Bintang.
